Welcome to USTC TopOpt Group
TopOpt group led by Dr. Xiaoya Zhai at School of Mathematical Sciences in the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) develops next-generation structures and materials through optimization/AI-driven design. We create multiphysics, multifunctional microstructures and explore how engineered matter can enable embodied intelligence bridging mathematics, mechanics, and real-world engineering needs.
